Displacement Transducers are plunger-actuated linear potentiometers that measure dynamic displacement. These models are ideal for precision measurements of sample deformation or movement during shear, consolidation, triaxial and other soil tests.Housed in anodized aluminum, the transducers feature a stainless steel actuator shaft with an anti-rotation system that uses a double-bearing system on both the shaft and spring to reduce side load errors. Transducers come in several different ranges, each with a repeatability of 0.002mm, and include two fixing clamps, screws and gauging head with hardened ball point.
